It would be interesting to have cameras mounted on the bottom of surf boards. I bet sharks would be present more than you would think. Any reef that is generating big wave s is their feeding areas, and from underneath a surfer looks a lot like a wounded seal thrashing about as they paddle.

Yep, animals don't know "ethics". I was amazed when cruising in the Sea of Cortez in the 80's, sailing at night there were a myriad of large creatures swimming behind the boat.... you could see them in the phosphorescense
