Re: Disembarkment syndrome, any thoughts?

In my somewhat wasted youth, I returned to Australia on a cruise ship from NZ. It was really, really rough. On disembarking in Sydney I visited the loo and had to hold the walls so I did not fall over.
However, a crew member warned me and said that I should get some exercise in a park. Swings, climbing etc. challenging my balance system while on land.
I think it worked out, although my spouse sometimes implies that I may still be somewhat unbalanced.

.....not only do I feel the sway, my temperament changes, I'm more snappy and mean tempered...I'm just happier aboard.
