XYGrib 1.2.5/1.2.6 on Raspberry Pi 4B Bullseye

Hi all, I'm having a problem to get XYGrib version 1.2.6 running on Raspberry Pi 4B Bullseye. After installation the system reports that version 1.2.6-2 is installed, but when I start the program it says "A new version 1.2.6 is available". The program header bar announces version "1.2.5". I tried re-installing to no avail - message: "xygrib is already the newest version (1.2.6-2)". Also, the "Maintenance Tool application" is not installed.

What am i doing wrong or what is the path to get 1.2.6-2 running respectivly? Thanks for any help!

xyGrib in bullseye was packaged incorectly.
You can use Packages for OpenPlotter
add oss.boating.gpg.key (https://www.free-x.de/deb4op/oss.boating.gpg.key) to your GPG-Ring and add repository e.g

deb [signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/oss.boating.gpg] https://www.free-x.de/deb4op bullseye main

Then as usually

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Wow, thank you so much! I have tried re-installing several times but nothing worked out. I added the oss.boating.gpg.key to my GPG-Ring with

wget -O - https://www.free-x.de/deb4op/oss.boating.gpg.key  | sudo apt-key add -

and then

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

and now everything works - XyGrib 1.2.6 is installed!
