Victron Cerbo and Simnet NMEA 2000

I have a Victron Cerbo GX connected to my batteries and solar panel. I would like to connect to my NMEA backbone
I found a way to connect the siment to an RJ45 plug and over to the Victron Cerbo.
The B&G Zeus recognizes the Cerbo, but I do not get any data and I do not get the Victron App. I think that the B&G has to connect directly to the Cerbo for the app to come up. Is this correct?
Is there any way to pull data into the B&G MFD without using the app?
