Simrad finally released a software fix for my NSX12 after using the sonar broken for first 2 months of use. Fingers crossed that was about a year ago and no issues since.

Major typo, Furuno service is first class. Can't recommend Simrad's offshore service or their product quality. I also didn't find their software as[ intuitive [/S]as either Garmin or Furuno. Again, do your homework.
