Chartbooks in the UK ?

Here in the US we have chartbooks: collections of nautical charts for a given area bound into a handy spiral book and usually a lot cheaper than buying every NOAA chart for the area. Are such things available for the UK, or does the Admiralty copyright preclude that?
How about Canada (Newfoundland, etc.)
Thanks.

Re: Chartbooks in the UK?

Ben, for some of the more popular areas there are chart packs which have several charts for an area like the Solent.

Chart Availability List

There are also charts produced by Standfords which often include extra charlets of harbours and rivers etc. Stanfords do a waterproof and tear resistant chart for some areas too, useful for the busy harbours were its not about navigation but pilotage so a chart in the cockpit is useful.

Stanfords - Search Results for chart

Alternative?

Just in case You decide to consider individual charts as an alternative.
I have some very lightly used (only once) charts from UK passage last year

All Imray
C7 - Falmouth to Isles od Scilly & Trevose Head - 1:120
C10 - Western English Channel Passage Chart - 1:400
C58 - Trevose Head to Bull Point - 1:130
C63 - Firth of Clyde - 1:160

-------------------
Non-UK
C19 - Cabo Finisterre to Gibraltar - 1:825
C43 - Santander to A Coruna - 1:350
C48 - La Coruna to Porto - 1:350

----------
I sold a bunch to a generous Brit who shared detailed info about channel crossing & Brittany - so these are the remaining ones - since shipping more to UK cost almost as much as charts

Re: Chartbooks in the UK ?

Thanks Chuteman--I'd like to stick to buying all from one source, if possible--picking ones up piecemeal usually means I wind up with doubles, especially if it's an area I don't know.
