will be sailing from Chesapeake bay to lake huron in may. does anyone have charts for these locations, huron, erie, ontario, st Lawrence seaway, and Atlantic coast, used are ok if reasonable condition. just like to HAVE PAPER CHARTS to refer to

boat is a 75' motor sailor height clearance is 64'

yes Erie canal is out i believe the only way is st Lawrence seaway, lake Ontario, lake Erie, st Clair then Huron

If your mast down vertical clearance is less that 12 feet you should investigate taking the Erie canal. It would save you a lot of miles and nasty St. Lawrence Seaway currents.

Of course the downside it lowering and raising the mast.

From Lake Erie to Quebec City, the nasty current is with you, if you're going the right way :-)
