Lewmar Windlass Service

A little about some great service I had through a gentleman by the name of Josh McAnany working for Lewmar.
I bought an anchor winch (LEWMAR FF1000 Profish) for a 39 foot Beneteau and after a few times of use, the unit failed to go into free fall and I sent it to be repaired to a service facility in SF, but regretably the person receiving it, did not respond to my letters or calls and I contacted Lewmar. A gentleman (Josh) responded to look into the person in SF and could not contact him, the repair facility, and decided to replace the unit without charge and promptly. I am expecting the unit this week to be sent to a friend who then will bring the unit to Mexico.
This is the kind of service we all looking for and I'm glad to have had this experience and will recommend their service.
