Anchor inventory/plan for TS/Hurricane conditions

The Fortress seems a bit small, but then again they hold about double what the regular anchors do. One way to cure this is to get a Danforth steel anchor in a bigger unit. Same great holding but the Danforth's are cheap now days and wouldn't cost much off craigslist etc. Get a couple big Dan's and bridle them with a big swivel in the middle?

Whatever arrangement you choose, secure the boat, and take advantange of the short kayak distance you specified to get the hell outta Dodge...no boat is worth dying for.
