Re: twin 15-20hp outboards on tender

I ran twin 20hp 2 stroke Johnson's ( circa 1978 ) on the back of a 13' Boston Whaler "sourpuss" for years. Used it as a chase boat in Hawaiian channels to retrieve Hobie cats who's renter got away from the designated area.
Cut the transom and used diamond plate to mount on.
Fast with two, plane with one. Never was down for maintenance or repairs.
Obvious safety with a backup that will plane the boat.
Would never go with a single in the future.
