New RIB, What to apply on bottom?

I just bought a new fiberglass RIB inflatable with Hypalon fabric. Can anyone advise on bottom paint? Specifically, has anyone ever tried Forespar LanoCote? The fiberglass bottom will obviously take a normal bottom paint, but what about the inflatable tubes? Thanks!

Re: New RIB, What to apply on bottom?

lanocote is mostly lanolin. DO NOT use it on the bottom as it stays sticky and will just create a real mess with sand and debris stuck to it! If you bottom paint the fiberglass use a hard finish like used on powerboats so you dont leave your paint on every beach you drag it up onto. The best plan is no bottom paint and lift it out of the water most nights with a halyard or davits.
There are probably inflatable dingy specific bottom paints if you must. It's jst not that hard to pull it up on the beach and brush or scrape anything off as a worst case scenario... If you ever have to pull the dink aboard the bottom paint will make a mess of your boat for sure...

Interlux says their new CF (copper free) line is good for hard and soft parts.

In the Caribbean antifouling not needed...if you lift the dinghy when not in use you do not get growth...if you don't lift it it gets stolen before there is any growth!

I use the Petit Inflatable Boat Bottom Paint which goes for $83 USD per quart. Right, per quart. The nice thing is that you can use it both on the fiberglass hull and the tubes.
