New Dink!

Can't wait to see how she runs. We're still waiting on the factory to deliver the stainless keel strips to protect her from the beach, but aside from that she's ready to run. More to come once I get to run her around, but the dealer guy that rigged her up (they come as a bare hull) said she's a blast.

With luck I get to blast around this weekend.

I'll still need to install the lifting eyes and cleats, running lights and a 12v outlet. That and some rod holders for flats fishing. Engine up she draws less than 5"

Hey Hal! Looks great!

But where's the seat for the Girly-whirly?

More importantly does it have a beer fridge?

That's a dinghy? Makes my new 8'6" RIB look kind of lame.

Re: New Dink!

There's room for three girls, one in each bow and one on the tunnel in front of the console. There is seating aft of the helm on both sides too. Unfortunately, with a girl in each of those positions, and my fat arse at the helm, that wouldn't leave much room for an Engle power cooler.

Thank you Mark, for making me even consider snagging one and for the fact that now I'm wondering if the OB can handle the amperage to run it. :-)

Fortunately, my foredeck weight budget is already maxed out so I'll have to stick with a regular cooler for the beer. :-D

She's only 11'11"

(fingers crossed I didn't bite off too much boat to fit on the foredeck and still handle lines.....)

Re: New Dink!

They delivered her on Saturday. Holy GOD this thing is fast.

I took her out in Boca Ciega yesterday, jumping wakes to see how she handled seas. Compared to my old RIB she's a dune buggy. The only thing weird is that when I hit a wake at speed and a significant angle, she wants to let it steer her more than a monohull would.

If you have room for one of these on your boat, get one. Can't beat the price and performance.
