Sliding rigging

We are new to this and this boat.....how do you stop the sliding rigging from moving forward? It seems as though it's missing a pin or some other part.
Thank you in advanced. Click image for larger version

Re: Sliding rigging

There’s a brake pin that drops into the holes in your track so the block arrangement won’t move. I can see the head of the pin in the last pic. I can’t tell what’s below the head. Possible it’s sheared off, or is just in the raised position. Mine can lock in a raised position if you twist it.

Re: Sliding rigging

I think it's missing the line that adjusts (and holds) the position of the car.

Re: Sliding rigging

That car does not have a stop pin that car is made to adjust under load.your missing the control line.it connects to the small block on the car (the pin is missing )then goes to the forward block through the sheave back to the car than back forward to the block then to the cam cleat on the car . when a load is put on it the car gets pushed back

Re: Sliding rigging
