Lewmar hatch handle

The handle on a small Lewmar hatch has detached, it was glued onto the clear plastic/perspex or whatever window. The glue used looks like some type of cyanoacrylate, but maybe not. Anyone had experience reglueing the handle? Cyanoacrylate or epoxy? Thanks for help in advance.

Have you tried asking Lewmar?

In contrast to your problem, the handles on our Bomar hatch are cast aluminum on SS shafts. After 35 years of melding they cannot detach. This leaves us unable to replace the cracked lexan lens, so we have to buy an entire new hatch.
