Friction Hitch for Amsteel

Hey all, I'm having trouble figuring out this rigging question and I'm hoping someone may have experience to share.

I'm trying to find a friction hitch (prussic, rolling hitch, kleinheist, etc...) that will work on 3/8 Amsteel. The friction hitch can be made of any material. The goal is to load transfer the Amsteel from a winch to a cleat. The Amsteel shouldn't be loaded more than 1500 lbs or so. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I have not tried something like a Petzl TIBLOC yet but that may be an option. Wondering if anyone has experience doing this.

Re: Friction Hitch for Amsteel

I would use a Yale grip for something like this although have not tried it specifically with 3/8 Amsteel.
