Wrong Jabsco seal sent... help?

I am in Australia about to go back to Fiji where the boat is. I ordered a Jabsco pump seal assembly for my manual pump toilet.

It came from Downwind Marine today and they sent the wrong part. The one they sent is the black seal assembly for the older style toilets - 29044-0000

I needed the white seal assembly which has a wide lip and the hex head cast right into the plastic - 29044-2000

Does anyone know if I can just screw this older one into the newer toilet?

I don't have time to wait for another one to get sent.

Cheers!

I'm not sure about the Jabsco part compatability, but I have stopped using them for that seal. You can just pry the old lip seal out of the white plastic housing, take it to any bearing/seal shop and they can match it. It is a very standard part, costs very little and is easy to push into place.

Hope that can help you out, mate.

Jim

I looked at the parts list to see if I could tell but there isn't enough info.
I think you should contact Jabsco and ask them.
The following link should let you send them an email.
Contact Us - Jabsco > Xylem Flow Control - Let's Solve Water.
