Re: Removing a holding tank -- epoxied in place?

Interesting to know that some coastal towns are banning the bagged waste. Do you know why? Is it health concerns, odor, ???

I’m not sure they can prohibit bagged waste legally … diapers, for example, are essential. Sounds like over reach.

They aren't banning composters entirely, but they're limiting length of stay and in some places, refusing to provide a mooring during heavy traffic weekends, for instance boat shows. Reason has nothing to do with health or odor concerns...the quantity of bagged waste being brought ashore is overwhelming their municipal trash cans and dumpsters....locals are complaining.

I agree...a correctly installed system that uses good quality hoses and equipment is easy to maintain and can be entirely odor free.
