Plastimo 2500 Stove Lighter Fix

Anybody know how to fix these AA battery driven lighters on the 2500 Plastimo Neptune stove (2007 model) when they wount spark? (I supose its the typical default..).. or faultfind them?

I couldnt find anything here on these though a frequently used stove. Through google I can see that subsequent model had the system reworked to avoid a similar breakdown.

Thanks!
