Jabsco Electric Marine Head

I am looking for some help with problems with the head. It's a Jabsco Electric head. Water will enter the bowl, but the flush button will do noting.

What is the model name/number and approx age of the toilet?

Does water enter bowl only when you try to flush does the bowl just fill up on its own?

Is it designed to use sea water or pressurized fresh water? Has a previous owner tried to convert a sea water toilet to use fresh water?

What type of flush button does it have--a single button that should be simultaneously bringing in water and pumping out the bowl or a panel that offers 3 choices:water in ahead of flush, dry flush, or simultaneous in-out?

Can you hear the motor running when you try to flush?

The answers to those questions should help to explain what is or isn't happening.
