Five flashes

Have installed an Adler CU-100 supercool unit and initially it ran fine bit now it is flashing a five code. The unit is not overheated. Is there any way to bypass this shutdown? I would rather not have to replace the control module.

Five flashes generally indicate an overheating module issue. Though it could be a bad module too.

The Module need to be able to cool itself.

I'm guessing it might be getting a tad warm in florida. Adding a 12V computer fan in front of the cooling fins on the module might help some.

Apparently, 5 flashes does designate: Overheated (refrigeration system is overloaded
or the ambient temperature is too high).
