Changing Jabsco freshwater Pump - Wiring question

I have been having problems with my Jabsco fresh water pump (31620-0092) which was part of a complete accumulator tank setup (52520-1000). I have had an issue with the pump running continuously, (the pressure continues to build and the switch does not shut the pump off. I replaced the pressure switch, however there was no change.

The existing setup includes a changover relay (12V, 30A) to which the pressure switch is wired, the positive and negative of the pump is wired and the power from the breaker is wired. There is a neutral (grey) wire coming from the breaker wire bundle and an orange wire to the relay.

The replacement pump (Jabsco Q401J-115S-3A) does not have the same wiring as the pump it replaces.

Can I wire the replacement pump directly to the breaker wire bundle, bypassing the relay? What purpose does the orange (neutral?) wire play in my new setup?
