I am sailing in the Exumas
as I write this post. Under sail with the engines off I can hear the props and I assume the sail drive spinning. I have folding props so I would assume that free spinning should be eliminated or greatly reduced but it is not. The transmission
is controlled electronically not with the normal push/pull cables
to the bridge.
What is the proper position for the transmission
while saiing, locked in reverse free spinning in neutral or something else?
All information is appreciated
