Should Props Spin when Sailing SD50 Sail Drive

I am sailing in the Exumas as I write this post. Under sail with the engines off I can hear the props and I assume the sail drive spinning. I have folding props so I would assume that free spinning should be eliminated or greatly reduced but it is not. The transmission is controlled electronically not with the normal push/pull cables to the bridge.

What is the proper position for the transmission while saiing, locked in reverse free spinning in neutral or something else?

I'd check the props first. Sounds like they are not folding properly.

Assuming they're Yanmars - they should be in neutral. The Yanmar advisory saying this has been posted several times on these forums.
