Hydraulic steering system on 87' carver 3607AFT

I had my helm steering all of a sudden stop working. Fortunately I ran down to the salon where the steering wheel worked enough to get to port. I have you tubed myself to death trying to get a video on how to add hydraulic Fluid and bleed the system. I have no idea what to do I am on the ICW wrightsville beach, NC. I can't find any information on it in my owners Manual. It only goes into detail about the packing nut on the rudders. Could someone please advise so that if I do have to have a Mechanic do it. I can at least know what he has to do. I would prefer to do it myself but would need some visual instruction.

I have hynautic steering & have rebuilt one of the helm pumps. It has a oil tank that is pressurized to supply the system. A friends boat has a sea star system it has no separate oil tank, the helm it's self holds the oil. Does your system sound like either one of these? May be able to offer some help with more info on what system you have, can't even order parts if needed till you know what you have.
