OUPV question

Are Cardinal marks and buoys part of the exam material for this license?

Re: OUPV question

Lateral Bouyage system almost certainly, cardinal marks maybe. Each exam is generated randomly so exact questions will vary.

The entire USCG exam questions database used to be accessible online. I assume it still is.

I believe the Freedom of Information act made this so, all pilots and mechanics exams, every possible question is available, the counter is of course to have hundreds of questions. The only exception to this that I know of is the Inspection Authorization test, that one the questions are not published
A trick I learned to study for the numerous exams I've taken is to get a copy of the questions and answers in print, then mark out all the wrong answers, that way only the correct answers will look familiar if you end up guessing on a few

Re: OUPV question

I used a similar approach when I was taking my Ham Radio Exam. If you study the question and correct answer in pairs, your brain remembers the relationship. Anyway I passed all of my exams.

I'm working my way through my 6 pack course right now but I'm worried about the Rules of the Road. Maybe I'll print out the Q&A and add that to my preparation. My exam is in January
