Looking to get trained in Puerto Rico - any recommendations?

Hello!

First post to the CF here. I'm looking to take an extended trip to Puerto Rico later this year (maybe October - December). Who knows, maybe I'll never come back! I've had some interest in sailing for sometime, so I figured this could be an ideal time to get some formal training. I'm interested in more than simply some sort of "intro to sailing" course - I appreciate a challenge and feel drawn to the sea, so my real the intrigue for me is really getting into it and acquiring the skills to safely sail.

When I got certified as a scuba diver, I didn't know much about the various training agencies, schools, how to select an instructor, which courses / equipment were critical and which were sort of useless, etc. If I knew then what I knew now, I would have done things a bit differently.

So before diving headlong into sailing, I figured I'd start here and see if anyone had any recommendations for a sailing training center in Puerto Rico, and if there are certain considerations I should be aware of when getting ready to take this first step into sailing.
