What is this one?

Thanks for those images Scout. I wonder what this one is in particular, as I seem to recall it was very much like the one I came close to buying those many years ago.

'Real Mountie' for sale

BTW here is a REALLY nice one that is reluctantly for sale,... ( I say reluctantly as I am not so sure the owner can really give her and the lifestyle up )

Sales Pitch Brochure

I made a reference to this PDF document before as I could not post it on this forum (too large), It really hits home as to the type of client who should find this vessel very desirable.

On another occasion I posted this observation...

What reasoning?

After an wonderful, exhaustive, mind numbing time going through all of these boats, the very last boat we chanced upon was a Pilgrim tug named "Salty Dawg." As soon as we came on board, it was quite obvious that this Pilgrim was quickly capturing our imagination and, above all other boats at the event (new or used), this was the one we could see ourselves cruising in.

It's been a while since I found this picture. I believe this boat was up in Washington. Maybe Lake Union. A lot of classic wooden trawlers in that neck of the woods.

re: Pilgrim 40, trawler/canal/coastal cruiser, Great Gatsby style

The above posts are old and I just came across them. Having been an early P-40 owner it should be of some interest in the type of custom motor boat I had built for me 2011-2012. 48+ Ft. Moon River. Compare to some of the above motor launches above. There is a little modern Gatsby in this design. A couple of the boat pictures above same designer builder as my boat Sam Devlin.

re: Pilgrim 40, trawler/canal/coastal cruiser, Great Gatsby style

I love the way these boats look! .

I was walking a dock not long ago (as I recall it was Norfolk) and walked by a boat and said to myself: “I think that is a Pilgrim 40.” Unfortunately I was in a hurry on a task and could not stop to admire it...

I admire the design. Nice to see these photos (and those of similar boats).

I notice this thread has a typo in the title. Should say Pilgrim, not Prigrim.

I'll contact the administrator and see if that spelling mistake can be corrected
