I left Deale Md Jan 22 or so 2012 sleet and snow flurries blowing 25 plus. Froze for 4 days. Nights were the pits even with a gen running 2 heaters. I was anchoring out. Need help I would do it again. By the way I was headed to Fl.

Your not considering selling your boat?

We are not sure and the reason for buying the motor homes. My wife does not want to spend wet/cold/damp/cloudy winter months in the PNW. We would prefer to be mobile and not buy anything permanent. That is the reason we bought the Eagle and been a live aboard as we can/could move around. We will head down the west coast sort of previewing harbors/marinas as we might move the Eagle South?

We have talked about selling the Eagle, but we have no plans. We also talk about moving the Eagle back on Lake Union again as we really like living in Seattle. We have family and friends in the Seattle area so keeping the boat in the PNW would be OK as a base. But will probable sell in the next 2 to 5 years.
