Yeah I can see the beauty in it bit it's a rather abstract beauty that I wouldn't want to live with.

Alas it has fooled all of you. It is a shape changer, I saw a brigantine!

Apparently I'm the only one but I love this yacht. It's soft and visually relaxing. The light volume for the interior would be phenomenal. I'm a fan of sci-fi so a yacht that looks like a yacht but also like a spaceship is pretty cool in my book.

I absolutely love traditional boats and beauty of well engineered functional items. That's what makes race cars like f1 so cool.
Now having said that I agree I think this is super cool. I see the beauty in it. I also think it would be one of those things that would be so much better in reality than pictures. I love it when people go outside the box.

Now if I had that much money would I buy it. No I would opt for something very salty and much more practical for sure. But I can still see the beauty.
Just like I can appreciate the beauty of some women that there's no way I would want to be in a relationship with ;-)

Re: Does anyone see the beauty?

I can't comment until I see how it looks with sail up.

It isn't a boat, it's a piece of potentially floating abstract art.

As such the form has beauty.

As a boat it only has beauty if the form follows function. I'm not seeing that.

Besides, if I can't singlehanded it, it's worthless.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm not sure it's a good look on a boat, however.

Not practical to me. I do find it visually appealing.

Re: Does anyone see the beauty?

While I am not a motor boater, I can still find beauty in well crafted design such as this:

Name:	Picture <a title=Bahamas 035.jpg Views: 177 Size: 420.3 KB ID: 68912" style="margin: 2px" />

This was parked at Staniel Cay several years ago and caught my eye.

As for the OP pic, sorry. Just doesn't work for me.
