Re: Woman missing - near Durban

It's not likely to be just online trolls he has to deal with. The nature of mysterious deaths without witnesses or proof, whether on land or sea, is for law enforcement to investigate the surviving spouse. Obviously that just adds to the horror of an innocent spouse who tragically lost their loved one. However, there are three possible explanations for such deaths-accidental, murder, and suicide. Law enforcement has an obligation to investigate.

I would say from a distance, this has all the characteristics of just being a horrible accident, but that cannot be assumed. As a husband, I can't imagine anything worse that topping an accident off with an investigation. Some investigations are conducted with more sensitivity than others. However, they will look into every aspect of the couple's lives from personal to financial.

The online trolls are easily dismissed as one can mostly avoid them. Law enforcement however can't be avoided or ignored.
