Thunder Bay Sailor - Solo Transat'

Thunder Bay’s Dan Turk just completed a 21 day solo crossing, from Halifax, Nova Scotia, to Lajes das Flores [± 1,900 nm], on Flores Island, in the Azores, in his his home-built, 5.8 metre [19 Ft.] boat, “Little Bea” [Plywood-Epoxy , 'Class Globe 5.80'].
His next destination, is Horta, on Faial Island, then on to Portugal.

Dan Turk built “Little Bea”, by hand, in his garage, during the COVID-19 pandemic. This photo shows the boat in Thunder Bay harbour.
