Initiative for Exchanging Sailboats - Sicily : Minorca

I launch my initiative to propose to exchange sailboat for a month. I've a 10 mt long in Sicily well equipped and I will search one same or bigger in Minorca . Could it done? Let me Know about it. It should seem very interesting in respect of people and boat. Ciao from Itali Pierstefano

Sounds like a nice idea, the main issue I could see is damage regulation & insurance, as boats often represent a significant amount of the owner's equity: If you total (as in total loss) the other person's boat, do they get to keep yours? More likely, you would have to purchase temporary insurance for both vessels.

Yes you're right a part that the prior thing is a trust, and secondary I have a total assurance. it's obvious that all could occured. It was only an idea that probably not practicable, but should be nice for nice people and nice sail and nice economic approach. Never mind! You're welcome aboard of mine, Ciao from Milan-Italy and froma Sicily where I moor my sailboat

There only boats and replaceable ...people are more important and aren't.

Its done all the time between trusting parties..I hope someday the couple I have offered the use of mine take me up on it.

I notice you have a Show...we have a local member with a 38 as well...not many around these parts...Nice boats...I bet he would be game ...but this aint Minorca..

I've friends who have house in Minorca. I' don't exactly understand if you have a boat there! If yes I'd like to exchange it with mine in Sicily. Do you agree? But mine is 32.5 feet. If ok write to me at pvernaschi@yahoo.it and I 'll show you by photos . It should be a grat opportuity to become friends and enloy each other with maintaining care and respect for everything. what about?
