They say it will be on Virginia Key.

Hopefully it will be easier to get to. The bus rides were horrible two years ago.

You might not be familiar with the yearly Miami International Boat Show.
The venues are split up in various places. The vendors are all in a giant place that takes a looong time to try to see all of it. The power boats are another place and the sail boats are at Miamarina. The sail portion of the show is called Strictly Sail.

Thanks for the link. I am very familiar with Strictly Sail having attended it three years in a row and for each of those I found Strictly Sail to be a separate entity event from Miami Intl. There may be a higher level connection but my focus is "strictly sail".

I'm looking forward to having the show on Virginia Key. I'm planning to go by boat and skip the bus ride.

I like the fact that I can do public transportation all the way to about two blocks from the ticket booth. On one of the keys I may not be able to do that without catching a taxi.

RK, since you're only interested in Strictly Sail, nothing changes for you. If you do decide to go to the other event, you'll be able to ride a free water taxi to Virginia Key.
