App and email not recognised

I am using a Samsung android tablet and I have the forum app. My gmail is receiving the messages with new posts and the newsletter but whenever I click on a topic it goes to the full site and wants me to enter my email again. It also won't take me to the topic on the app so I end up having to search for the topic.

How do I resove this?

You could set up push notifications on the app, I believe but the e-mail notices you get will always direct to the full site.
