This is sailing in light air, leaving Waupoos Island.

Thats a nice looking boat...I dont know how much would be gained from changing the rig....I guess it depends on what kind of sailing you do.
I changed my 27 year old wooden mast to aluminum, but pretty much kept all the same dimensions although there was some weight savings.
