Compac sailors on the Texas Gulf Coast?

I've recently transitioned from my old 74' Columbia 34 to a newer Compac 27mkII. Although the downgrade in size is a rough adjustment for my large family, the upgrade in quality and available support is priceless! The draft, 2' shallow then on the Columbia, has effectively widened my local sailing venues. I found there to be an active owner's group, readily available parts and a lot of other sailors nationwide that thoroughly enjoy this design (and Compac sailboat in general). On the day I purchased the boat, it seemed meant to be when I glanced toward the Kemah channel to see another beautiful C27 gliding by - and I was excited at the prospect of seeing her out on the water. Unfortunately, I have not since seen her or another Compac out on the water since (yes, I've only been out in in her once so far but am by the Kemah area quite often). Anyway, I thought I'd shout out to see if there are any active Compac sailors on the Texas Gulf Coast here on the forum?
