Re: Beneteau fuel gage wildly wrong

I too, have a B473. It has two fuel tanks. I installed Wema SSS/SSL senders. These have the same mounting flange as the OEM senders, no need for adaptor. Additionally, I replaced the fuel gauge with a unit from CruzPro. These gauges allow you to calibrate the guage to the tank shape. This is done by starting with an empty tank and filling it in steps. I have been happy with this system. CruzPro customer service is great!
Remember after you do the calibration at the dock, sitting level, heeling will affect readings.

Thanks for the info Jim, the unit you fitted does not appear to be available in the UK, which is where I am at, and using the adapter was the best option.
However, the info you have posted should help Dave.

I had the same issue on my Morgan. It took two new senders and a new gage to solve the problem. DIY than you understand the very issue .
