Compression post steel base corrosion

I recently had a survey done on a 82' Dufour 4800 and nothing was mentioned about the compression post base but from the some pictures I took I noticed some corrosion on the steel beam. Anyone suggest a course of action on this metal beam? Not sure if it's even an issue. Thank you!
