On the hard over wintering in Turkey

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a marina in Turkey where we can have the boat (43ft/13m sloop) lifted out and dry stored for the upcoming winter (we will be heading back to New Zealand).

Many thanks

Bob

Re: On the hard over wintering in Turkey

We spent 5 months in the water in Kas and had zero bottom growth due to a layer of fresh water from springs in the area. That and some sucker fish that cleaned what little green film grew. They have hard storage too. Kas marina has tennis, pool, good managemnt and Kas is a great little tourist town; three hour drive to Antalya airport. If needing more substantial work the best marine facilities on the Turquoise Coast is Mamaris: good quality and pricing. Once you decide let me know and I can offer more specifics. Turkey is a favorite of ours.
