Any families wintering in Marmaris Turkey or thereabouts?

Hello all,

We are currently in Italy and working our way east towards Turkey for the winter. We will likely arrive there in the early to mid November timeframe. One thing that has surprised us since leaving Annapolis MD in June is the lack of "kid boats" encountered on our many stops. We have an 11 yo boy and an 8 yo girl and are always looking for opportunities for them to play with other kids. Our general and flexible plan has us wintering in either Netsel or Marmaris Yacht Marine harbors. Any info on the kid scene at these places or any where else in Turkey or Greece would be very much appreciated..

i don't know about the "kid"status at the moment,but there is a nice winter community of cruisers in finike marina,and a good boatyard adjacent.

another option might be the new marina in limmasol cyprus,you could even send the kids to school for 6 months.
