Frustrated In Ballard Trying to Find Canvas Service Providers

Do other cruisers/liveaboards have trouble finding service providers for the items they know they just can't do on their own?

We have called more than a dozen canvas makers both in the Seattle area and beyond, and emailing at least nearly all of them after leaving multiple messages. No one has responded to us. And yes, we used our manners.

How do you get canvas and new frames made if no one calls you back? Also started calling folks in April, thinking we knew they would be busy, but it's July now...

What gives? Is there a super secret code or some such that us noobs are unaware?
