2001 Corsair F-31 Ultimate Cruiser Trimaran

The Corsair F-31 Ultimate Cruiser is the ultimate boat for performance and flexibility.

The outside amas easily fold in for trailering to any destination you have in mind (we have sailed Southern California, Arizona lakes, and Sea of Cortez -- all in one year! Once you arrive, stepping the mast and folding out the amas is accomplished in an hour or two and you are on the water and on your way.

Another benefit to the folding amas is the ability to fold in and fit into single size marina slips.

The 2001 Corsair F-31 UC was designed by Ian Farrier while he was with Corsair and before production moved to Vietnam.
Besides "sailing" upwind at 55mph on the freeway, this boat sails at wind speed in as little as 3-5 knots of wind. Typical cruising speed is 10-12 kn.
With all lines leading to the cockpit and the autotiller, short handed sailing is easy and comfortable.
UPGRADES THROUGHOUT! From the custom Victoria skimboard table to the upgraded salon cushion fabric, custom cockpit cushions, etc. you will find an unusual degree of comfort all over this boat.
The aft cabin is spacious and comfortable with plenty of leg room and under-mattress storage, as well as shelf storage. No v-berth challenges here!

All sails have either been replaced or professionally evaluated and repaired by Elliot Pattison sailmakers.

The Trailex trailer was extensively overhauled in 2016 with new bunks and carpet, new fenders, new disc brakes/bearings, and new surge controller.

The daggerboard gives great stability during cruising, and can be fully retracted, along with a fold up rudder, allowing you to beach the boat or navigate shallow waters without fear. Fully extended, your draft is less than 6'.

Tiller extensions and the autotiller allow you to control the boat from anywhere: relax on the nets, go down below, sit on the bow!

And performance cannot be stressed enough. This boat won a multitude of Southern California races under her previous owners.

This boat is in excellent condition. There's nothing to be done except sail and have fun!

Please PM me for additional pictures and information.

Not even two weeks since this ad was posted. I am a huge fboat fan but how long would expect it to take to sell one.

Sorry gang, I had a brain lapse. I forgot I put an ad here.

SOLD her in one month.

She was a great boat just "needed something bigger" for a very slow circumnavigation.
