Best anchorage for quick transit stop in Hawaii in February

Hi there.

I am planning to relocate my boat from Tahiti to San Francisco during February and March 2018. As this is a simple delivery trip, not a cruise, we are only planning to stop off in the Hawaiian islands for clearance into the USA, food, fuel and propane. I read that during the winter months the north swell can be quite severe making places like Radio Bay and Reeds Bay untenable.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best place to anchor for a few days simply to clear-in and re-stock before the passage to San Fran? We're a 46' catamaran with a 26' beam so most marinas struggle to accomodate us...

Appreciate any advice for the best stop off island and anchorage in the month of February.
