Please send a private message if this post interests you. I am an experienced crew member working on building sea hours towards my RYA yachtmaster offshore license. Currently have over 1000 miles logged between Florida and Puerto Rico. Includes several night passages.

I am aboard a 42' Pearson with a lovely couple. Headed in the direction of the BVIs in the next few days. That's as far as they will be going before they return home to the US.

32 year old Canadian male. Solid references available upon request. Easy to get along with. Clean. Travel with a backpack and fins.

My ideal position would be paid, this could be as little as $30/day for a short passage. For a longer passage (ocean crossing?) or permanent position I'm very interested but would be seeking additional negotiable compensation.

Current location: Puerto Rico
Health status: excellent, not prone to motion sickness
Availability: current - several months
Skills: climbing masts, scraping boat bottoms, night navigation/watches, common knots, line handling, spearfishing, cooking, washdown, basic diesel engine maintenance
