Metal Cruiser - 45-50 ft US East Coast

Hi All,

I've been browsing the regular listings as well as here for a while now. I've checked Yachtworld, sailboatlistings, boats.com, etc for a while. I'm wondering if perhaps anyone on here knows of a boat that is not listed. Long shot but i thought I'd just go for it.

I'm looking for a heavy duty cruiser (aluminum preferred but good condition steel would also fit the bill.) No lifting keels/centerboards. Fin w/ full skeg or full keel would suit.

I am not looking for a fancy interior or lots of luxuries or electronics/generators/watermakers etc. (Moitissier approach over modern boats etc).

I am basically looking for a solid cruising design with moderately decent sailing ability (like ted brewers, koopmans, van de stadt, kanter, etc - (yes i know some of those are designers and some are builders)).

If anyone knows of something that might fit the bill - please let me know!

I'm looking for something from 45 - 50ft under 80k.

Thanks!!!

I’m uncertain if your budget is USD or CAD, but if it’s USD, there’s a boat called Greensun in Lloydminister Ab, Canada. It’s possible to have it shipped to your location and stay in your budget. Greensun is on sailboatlistings and looks to tick all of your markers.

I’m not sure if we have spoken before but good luck!
