Any input on passage from the BVI to the Bahamas & Florida

We plan on taking our BALI 4.3 this coming June from the BVI to Florida through the Bahamas.
We appreciate inputs from anyone that experienced this passage.
Please only actual personal experience.

A good distance >1200 miles. First hop was to Provo, north end nice resort and fuel. Checking in was easy, right in the marina office. Next hop planned was to Exumas for check in, but a storm south of Mayaguana spoiled the plan and we island hoped for the next 10 days to Nassau.
Watch the Bahamas forecast closely. This Storm was not forecasted, but we’ll report after it developed.
Otherwise a great sail; following wind and seas. Enjoy the sail. Not too many boats until The Exumas, just an occasional cruise ship and merchant.
