Our submarine had a reactor on board and people would always ask me if I was afraid of it "blowing up". I tried to explain to them that it doesn't really work that way but no one every wanted to...

I also never go out into the sunshine. I only come out after dark and will be melting the lead from my keel and pouring it over the cabin top.

Denver, Indiana, and New York are all showing elevated levels past that of San Francisco.

The stuff from Japan hitting our coast must be so high that it's frying the instruments!

Saying that we have a nuclear threat because you automatically believe the inverse of whatever you hear on the news isn't exactly sound footing.

When I was on a submarine we got higher doses of radiation if we went up on the dock and aimed our dosemeters up to the sun.

And a nice hearty chuckle to Fox News for some grade A fear mongering.
