We can pike. Add a bit of catch up, and you swear that it was salmon. One doesn't even have to take out the Y bones as the canning procedure softens them right up

Lol... in our case, one country divided by a common language. Mind you most would think that Newfies have a way with the English language that is all their own.

Yes, that's what the Newfies call it. The first time I heard that I had no idea what they're talking about, cuz out west here we would have called it canned moose.

Commercially, I prefer canned chicken. Aldi's is cheap, and as good quality as any.

Home made? Prefer moose, although it has to be done properly. Nothing better though on a cold day.
