OK, then in that circumstance what do you do? I think you are saying you run back to the marina, but I say that is more fraught with risk. |

Still, much better to ride it out in deep water than run up into mud or a channel marker, bridge, moored boat, etc. Plus waves will be steeper in shallow water. I don't understand why people are... |
