works a treat,but the person on the windlass has to know what they are doing,as the trick is to keep the speed up once the boat has pivoted,and the arse end is heading for the dock at 4 knots:popcorn:

belive me any boat will spin on a dime if you are going fast enough,and break the chain when a decent amount of rode is out........the bow./..bows getting pulled down is a dead give away!,that it is...

i would like to let you all know that i like to drop my anchor after i have been through the anchorage up wind,then on the down wind leg,i drop the anchor,normally at...
