Atoll, How did you mount the Bowman heat exchanger? My mechanic is onboard for doing it, but he wonders how it can be mounted to the engine. Is there a bracket of some nature? By chance, you wouldn't have a photo of the unit stalled, would you? If so, could you e-mail it to don(at)foleyisland.com?

No we haven't met arri or diane and don't know the boat La Complice. Maybe they didn't sail into Eilat. How far north did you go on the Red Sea? Did you sail up to Jordan or Israel, or stay south along Egypt's shores?

Almost settled in now; the North Sea is still rolling around somewhere inside me though. The kids still ask after James, the knotty man. If you're around this area drop by for a beer or three and tell James the same.

Jane & I are doing a barge handling course in a week or so - all was well until we were entering our marina - the berthmaster had let another boat onto our mooring and was shouting (against the wind) for us to go further round. You may recall Shamrock is not the most manouvarable craft and with a massive side wind we managed to scuff a plastic boat. Great intro to our new home. We are going back to Henley in a couple of weeks. I've fixed the generator exhaust now - bloody noisy thing though, even with the silencer fitted.

Thanks again for all you and James did - a voyage to be remembered (by me anyway, probably one best forgotten for your part).
